As Part of our WeROCK Program, we require all our runners to log their runs in Strava so we can track their progress and take advantage of allowing all our runners to celebrate their runs and give each other kudos for their effort. Strava recently announced their Beacon service is now free for all users, not just paid subscribers. This service allows athletes to send a beacon from a connected device* (cell phone/GPS) to specific contacts to track their location. Curious how close your runner is to the finish line? Track them with the beacon!
