Full Marathon Training
September-May
The journey to a full Marathon starts with just 1 mile!. Our main season gets under way right after Labor Day. Our runners attend with their school teams for afterschool practices twice a week and the entire team gathers for long runs on Satursday. Our program is tailered for all abilities with the minimum requirements of running an average pace of 16 minutes per mile.
Not quite ready for a full marathon?
While we love seeing our runners achieve the incredible milestone of a full marathon, we understand that it’s just not the time for some runners. We will work with the runner and parents to alter the training plan as necessary. Many runners who do not do a full marathon will run the OC half marathon instead.
